- Click on ‘Settings’ on the left-hand side pane
- Select ‘Folders’ from the options available
- On this page, you can create, delete, check or uncheck a folder( please note that the default folders like Inbox, Drafts, Sent, Junk, Trash, and Archive cannot be deleted or altered, they are server folders)
- Upon checking the box you wish to subscribe to, you will get a notification at the bottom of the screen acknowledging the action that has just taken place
- Log into Webmail using Horde,
- Click the drop-down arrow in front of Folder Actions
- You can create, expand, collapse, show all and rebuild mailboxes depending on the action you wish to take
- The folders you subscribe to are the ones displayed by Thunderbird. It subscribes to every folder it finds when you first set up the account and any folder you add to it.
- Go to the File menu and click the Subscribe option
- Select desired folders.
- Click Subscribe.
- Click OK.
- New folders can now be accessed from the Folders list on the left side.
- Click on your account name,
- Go to Settings.
- Choose Server Settings.
- Click Advanced.
- We recommend that you uncheck the option to Show only subscribed folders as this can cause some folders to be hidden in Thunderbird.
- Once you are done, click OK and restart Thunderbird
- Click the Tools menu, then on click IMAP Folders
- Click the Query button.
- Select the desired folders.
- Click the Subscribe button. Click OK.
- New folders can now be accessed from the Folders list on the left side.
- Go to Mail > Preferences > Accounts.
- The mail menu with the preferences option.
- Select your email account and click the Advanced tab.
- Make sure the IMAP path prefix is set to INBOX.
- Close the Preferences panel and save.
- Restart the entire mail program.
