Always know the terms of your domain name before registering it, options and fees for renewing domain names vary by registry, so be sure to read about the domain name extension before purchasing. Your domain registration/renewal could fail due to a lot of reasons. If your order fails, the reason for the failure will be stated in your client account. You are experiencing troubles in registering/renewing your domain name because:
  • Your payment was not fully processed or did not go through.
  • Your domain is past the renewable period and the registry has to be contacted for manual renewal.
  • There is a hold on your domain by the registry.
  • Your TLD (mostly Country Code TLDs) have special registration/renewal requirements.
Despite a failed order, the domain registration/renewal could be successful, you need to confirm the status and expiration date on Whois. If the domain registration or renewal was successful, the details will be updated in your Verpex Account’s Domain List. Tips to avoid failed orders:
  • Check on whois.com to find out if the domain is available for registration/renewal, contradicts the registry naming rules or has been reserved by the registry
  • Make sure the domain you want to register does not have extended attributes, it it has you need to specify during checkout.
  • Keep in mind that some TLDs (mostly Country Code TLDs) have special registration/renewal requirements.
Please note that it is important to keep your contact information up to date so you can receive notices of any changes. All failed orders are refunded to the payment source by our Billing team.
