# Overview of .ES Domain 

The .ES domain is the country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for Spain, managed by [Red.es](https://Red.es).

## Information Required

To register your .ES domain, please provide the following.

### 1. Identification Document Type (TIPO IDENTIFICACIÓN)

* **DNI/NIF** – Spanish National Identification Number
* **NIE** – Foreigner Identification Number in Spain
* **Other** – for contacts outside Spain or those using a passport

If you are using a passport, please provide the passport number.

### 2. Identification Number (IDENTIFICACIÓN)

The identification number that corresponds to the document type selected above.

### 3. Legal Form (LEGALFORM)

Select **Individual**, or the appropriate legal entity type:
