# Types of .NG Domains

**.ng**: This is the most commercially used domain extension and is open to anyone anywhere. Intended for any website associated with Nigeria\
**.com.ng**: This extension is intended for Nigerian businesses for commercial purposes and opened to anyone.\
**.org.n**g: This extension is suitable for non-commercial Nigerian organizations(non-profits) and opened to anyone\
**.name.ng**: This extension is intended for personal websites and is open to anyone anywhere\
**.mobi.ng**: This extension is intended for Nigerian mobile-friendly websites.\
**.net.ng**: This extension is intended for Nigerian network providers(Nigerian Internet Service and Telecoms Providers’ infrastructure only). It is restricted to Nigerian ISP\
**.sch.ng**: This extension is intended for Nigerian non-degree issuing academic institutions. It is restricted to Nigerian preschool institutions and documentation may be required.\
**.edu.ng**: This extension is strictly reserved for Nigerian tertiary academic institutions including Universities, Polytechnics, Colleges of Health, Colleges of Education and Technical Colleges only. \[Find the full requirements here] for Nigerian post-secondary institutions.
