# Criteria for Registering a .net.ng Domain Name

> How to Register a .net.ng domain name

.net.ng is a closed .ng domain extension that is ideal for licensed Nigerian Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and Telecommunications infrastructure providers

Mainly dedicated to activities in connection with the Internet and networks, this extension is\
is a unique identity and second level domain (SLD) for Nigeria on the internet. It is great for businesses and individuals interested in expanding their brand or service in Nigeria.

To register a .net.ng, you would need to send us an email with the following:

* The registrant must provide us with a copy of the Nigerian Communications Commission license for the provision of Internet and Telecoms services before it can be approved.
* A scanned copy of an authorization letter on the letterhead of the company with the company details requesting for the registration of the domain

Once the documents have been submitted and vetted, we will proceed to contact the relevant authorities and register the domain
